Navya Nair's is in no mood to rest on her laurels. That is the message emanating from her decision to foray into Kannada cinema.
Having consolidated her gains in Malayalam film world and neighbouring Tamil cinema, the heroine with the nice girl next door image, is set to make her maiden splash in Kannada cinema.
The grapevine has it that Navya has been booked for a film in which dashing Darshan plays the male lead.
Of course, Navya, who became a celebrity overnight with the release of her first Malayalam movie, �Nandanam�, had an earlier offer to act in a Kannada movie. But problems of date prevented her from fructifying her ambition.
But better late than never. So, this time around, she accepted the offer with both hands. It is a good break for the talented actress whose Tamil film, �Mayakkannadi� is set for release.
